A Service of Dedication
for
The Ministry Center
September 9, 2001

A dream came true for the Saint James Brethren Church on Sunday, September 9, 2001, when the congregation dedicated its new Ministry Center.  Ground was broken on September, 2000, and one year later the new building and parking area were dedicated. 

Rev. Michael Woods, pastor of the new Grace Community (Brethren) Church of Winchester, Va., and moderator of the Southeastern District Conference, gave the message for the dedication service, The Power of Vision, The Vision of Power. Dr. Brian Moore, pastor of the Saint James Church led the service and offered the prayer of dedication. Both Pastor Moore and Mrs. Kristy Bowers, the church's Director of Christian Education and Family Ministries, gave opening remarks. Dawn Smith played the prelude and the Adult Choir provided special music.
