Summer Day Camp for Children
Preschool through Middle School

June - August 2007
Monday through Friday
7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Kids look forward to the end of school but it's not long before the summer doldrums set in and parents hear, "I'm bored!" Saint James Brethren Church invites you to register your child for Kids Kamp.  Whether you need child care while you work or just something constructive for your child to do, our caring staff will provide lots of fun activities in a friendly and safe environment.  The summer program is designed for three separate age groups:  preschool, elementary and middle school.

Dates and Hours of Operation

Kids Kamp will host kampers for ten weeks beginning June  and ending August 2007. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. There will be no Kamp on July 4. You may register for as few or as many weeks of Kamp as you would like.

Tuition and Registration

Preschool through Kindergarten - $125.00 per week per child
Elementary and Middle School - $95 per week per child
Early Bird rates are $115/$85 per week per child if pre-registered by May 1, 2006.

Tuition includes all materials, supplies, and snacks and field trips for the week. Child will need to bring a packed lunch and drink each day. The first week's tuition should be included with your registration form.

Additional weeks of Kamp may be paid for at the beginning of each week. There will be no refunds for missed days. Pre-registrations are due no later than May 1. Our staff to kamper ratio is 1:6, so registration is limited. Please register early to assure your child's participation.

Kamp Director

Kids Kamp director is Kristy Bowers, Director of Christian Education and Family Ministries at Saint James Brethren Church. For questions, please contact Kristy Bowers by email or phone, 301-582-3333.

Additional Information

You may be interested in knowing that Kids Kamp is offered to the children of the community as a service to parents and children, but also to benefit our college students. Tuition from Kamp will be used solely for the expenses of Kamp and to provide scholarships for our college students who serve as Kamp staff. Our staff has been carefully selected and trained in order to provide your child with a wonderful and safe summer experience.
